3 min read

Beloved, pause and be renewed, The world has been pulling at you all morning. This is your sacred midday hour to reconnect with Jesus, refuel your spirit, and recenter your heart on the Almighty. Step away from the noise and enter His presence.

ONE HOUR WITH JESUS

12:00 – 12:10 PM

Pause & Center

What to do: Step away from your work, phone, and distractions. Sit quietly. Close your eyes. Take five deep breaths. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. Release the stress of the morning.

Scripture

Matthew 11:28 (NLT) — "Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.'"

Suggested Prayer

Jesus, I am weary. I come to You for rest. I lay down the burdens of this morning. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Refresh my soul. I need You.

12:10 – 12:25 PM

Scripture Reflection

What to do: Read a psalm or a passage from the Gospels. Read slowly. Let one verse capture your attention. Write it down. Carry it with you through the rest of your day.

Scripture

Psalm 119:105 (NLT) — "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path."

Suggested Prayer

Lord, Your Word revives my soul. In the middle of this busy day, I turn to You. Let Scripture recenter my heart on what matters most. Let Your truth anchor me.

12:25 – 12:40 PM

Prayer & Supplication

What to do: Bring your needs, your worries, and your desires before God. Be honest — He can handle it. Pray for strength, wisdom, and courage for the rest of your day. Pray for those you'll encounter.

Scripture

Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) — "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand."

Suggested Prayer

Father, I bring You my worries, my needs, my fears. I lay them at Your feet. Give me wisdom for the decisions ahead. Give me courage to walk in faith. Fill me with Your peace. I trust You.

12:40 – 12:50 PM

Thanksgiving

What to do: Count your blessings. Name five specific things God has done for you — today, this week, this year. Thank Him for each one. Gratitude shifts your perspective from what you lack to what God has abundantly provided.

Scripture

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT) — "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."

Suggested Prayer

Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for [name your blessings]. You are good and Your love endures forever. I choose gratitude. I choose to see Your hand in everything.

12:50 – 1:00 PM

Dedication & Sending

What to do: Re-commit your afternoon to God. Ask Him to use you — your words, your work, your interactions — for His glory. Pray for the people you'll meet. Go back into your day as His ambassador.

Scripture

Colossians 3:23 (NLT) — "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."

Suggested Prayer

Lord, I rededicate this afternoon to You. May everything I do be an act of worship. Use my words to bless. Use my work to glorify You. Use my life to draw others to Jesus. In His name, Amen.

You are refueled and recommitted. Walk into the rest of your day as a vessel of God's love and power. The Almighty is with you.
